This toe-tally adorable kitten will grab your heart with her big feet

Those toes are too many!

And the kitten they come with makes a complete package of heartbreaking ultra-cuteness !!

Meet Stella. Aside from being cute, she is one of the toughest little gray tabby tigers you will ever see.

Today she is a healthy polydactyl kitten with an extra toe on both front paws and two extra toes on each hind foot. But Stella’s beginning was tough, and her first two weeks of life kept foster mother Caroline Grace busy.

Rough hold in life

Stella was born from a caesarean section because her mother was quite ill. Unfortunately, she was the only kitten from her litter of six that survived. To make matters worse, her mother was unable to breastfeed her only surviving kitten and left Stella as a newborn without her cat family.

But thanks to Saving One Life and Caroline, Stella wasn’t alone. She would surely need all the help she could get as a single newborn kitten. Caroline shared, “This girl really was a wonder fighter baby. She had a difficult entry into this world. When a cesarean baby, born from a sick and stressed mother, could neither breastfeed nor have colostrum, she had every chance against her. “

Stella’s first ten days were terrifying. The fact that she was a newborn baby meant feeding around the clock to keep her little body from failing and being constantly monitored. But with five days it got worse. Stella got sick.

“She developed a high fever and couldn’t eat anything. She was completely sluggish and had difficulty breathing. “

Caroline took her to an intensive care unit, which supplied the baby with oxygen and taught Caroline how to tube feed the sick kitten. For two days Caroline was fixated on Stella, administered antibiotics, fed the tube and offered her so much love and support. The prognosis was good!

“I am so proud to say she no longer needs tube feeding and is breastfeeding from the bottle on her own !!!”

From then on, the race for her beautiful big feet was on!

OMG those toes!

As sweet Stella grew strong and healthy and swallowed the formula that her round belly could hold, she developed the sweetest quirk. Caroline reported that Stella was “the cutest little Polydactyl thumbsucker”!

Despite being a late bloomer, with her light weight and eyes that didn’t fully open until she was 15 days old, Stella is a fighter. From a sick newborn to a healthy kitten discovering toys and solid foods, it’s the most adorable reminder to never give up. Now she has been taken into her home forever to lead the happy life every kitten deserves.

“I feel like she went from my fragile little bottle baby to a strong and playful kitten in no time! It is so amazing to see her healthy, happy and successful. “
