The cancer patient’s emotional support dogs die on the flight if they are crammed in the hold

A leukemia patient named Hannah suffered an incredible loss from a trusted airline. After traveling from Dubai to Washington for cancer treatment, they landed with the devastating news that their two beloved French Bulldogs did not survive the flight.

When Hannah discovered that her best option for treating leukemia would be in the United States, she knew she couldn’t move without her two dogs, Panda and Beluga. Panda and Beluga were not only her best friends, but also her emotional support animals. These dogs were her world, so there was no way she could leave them behind.

While Hannah was preparing for her flight on Emirates, she was told that Panda and Beluga could not fly in the cabin with her as they weighed more than 8 pounds. She was informed that they would instead be flying to a designated animal housing area below the cabin, despite providing medical records claiming panda as an emotional support animal.

With no other option, Hannah was forced to pay the $ 2,600 fee to fly her beloved Frenchies in the pet cargo section. This fee includes mandatory pet controls at all stops and ensuring their safety during every flight. Unfortunately for Panda and Beluga, they never made it into the pet-safe hold.

Apparently, at some point during their trip, the two French were taken to the hold instead of the pet-safe area. Because the flight from Dubai to Washington took more than 12 hours, Panda and Beluga died of lack of oxygen on the way. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death and also mentioned the presence of blood on Panda.

Other pets on this flight that were housed in the correct animal keeping area survived the flight unscathed. This proves that if Panda and Beluga were brought into the pet safe area, they would likely be here with Hannah today.

Hannah was utterly broken when they broke the devastating news after they landed in Washington. Not only does she mourn the loss of her furry family members, but she’s still waging an epic battle against leukemia. This is more stress than anyone should be able to take.

Hannah enlisted the help of a lawyer to justify the loss of her beloved French Bulldog. Evan Oshan is dedicated to the fight in memory of Panda and Beluga and helps ensure that this never happens again.

“Dogs are not luggage. You live breathing family members and in this case have provided tremendous emotional support to a cancer patient. Emirates charged for the dogs’ passage even though this cancer patient provided medical records. That’s wrong! “- Attorney Evan Oshan & Coowner of Frenchiestore

We send our love to Hannah and her family at this difficult time, and we hope that Panda and Beluga receive the justice they deserve.
